BaerCoil® Thread inserts make your connection strong

Do you wish to create a strong connection in a metal with a low shear strength? Then BaerCoil® wire thread inserts provide reinforcement. They hold your screw firmly in the anchorage without the thread insert being altered, with precision and without wear. It can also withstand high thermal loads.

The outstanding technical properties in combination with high surface quality make BaerCoil® a recognized partner in the aviation and space travel industry, engineering industry and of leading manufacturers of military equipment.

Thread broken? A job for the BaerCoil® thread insert

A stripped thread or worn thread does not mean the end for your component. This is where our thread insert comes into its own: Simply cut a new, slightly larger female thread, screw the BaerCoil® thread insert into the old thread screw in your workpiece again. You will soon create a new, firm connection that will hold a great load and is stronger and more wear-resistant than the original thread.

Forces need to be well-distributed

Our thread inserts ensure that both static and dynamic operating forces are evenly distributed over the individual threads. The flexibility of the thread insert also compensates for any slope or angle errors, giving an optimum force transfer from the bolt to the female thread. Particularly in light construction, BaerCoil® thread inserts also help to reduce the load-bearing material and use smaller or shorter screw connections. Today they are already an important component part in aviation and vehicle construction. They save significant amounts of material and contribute to preservation of resources.

Your tools and BaerCoil® thread inserts – a good match.

Our thread inserts are standardized – normally according or similar to DIN 8140 – and thus matched and mostly compatible with wire thread inserts, assembly tools and thread taps from other manufacturers. We can also supply thread inserts compliant with the standards DIN 65536, EN 2944, LN 9039, LN 9499, NASM 21209 and others. We recommend checking these specifications carefully in each individual case.
