This is where our thread insert makes its excellent appearance: Simply cut a new, slightly larger holding thread, screw the BaerCoil® thread insert into the old thread and re-screw your workpieces. And you've already created a new strong connection that can withstand an extremely large amount of wear. And is therefore more stable and wear-resistant than the original thread.

Wire thread inserts – "screw grip"

"Whether shocks, constant vibrations or movements - "screw grip" (self-clamping) keeps your connection stable. In addition to the properties of the "free-flowing" connection, the screw-locking BaerCoil® thread inserts with their polygonally shaped coils have a clamping effect on the flanks of the screwed-in screw. Please use only screws of a higher strength class for this purpose, as an elastically resilient frictional connection is created. The clamping torques are comparable with the specifications in DIN 267 Part 15 and ISO 2320.

Our thread inserts are standardized - usually according to DIN 8140 or similar - and therefore mostly suitable and compatible with wire thread inserts, installation tools and taps of other manufacturers. In addition, we can supply thread inserts according to the standards DIN 65536, EN 2944, LN 9039, LN 9499, NASM 21209 and others.
